The Wind

Today, everyone was telling me about the "wind" last night at 11+pm.

EVERYONE LOR.

They are all talking about it. But i seriously didn't know anything about it.
My windows were closed, door was closed, aircon on and i was sleeping.
Totally unaware of the happenings outside.

But they ALL talk about the wind that's like typhoon.

What did i miss this time?

二人世界

A lot of newly weds love to have their own little place, spend their life together themselves.

I guess it's a feeling you yearn to have as we all live with parents for 20+ years before we even get married.

However, everytime Mum goes travelling, i wonder 二人世界是傻么笨东西!

First off and most importanly for me, Dinner.

We tried to cook our own.
Mr Neo did a great job with Udon with some crabstick & hotdog.
Only to find that the damn udon i brought had turned bad already! Damn the supermarket!
End up had to go to the nearby KPT for dinner. Waste time...

The next day Mrs Neo whipped out the canned food and made porridge.
But she cooked an amount which was insufficient. (Heehee but we all thought it was supposed to be enough).

End up? Eat maggiemee.

We totally gave up and plan Wed and Thurs's dinner at my M.I.L's place.

二人世界我"pui" !

Asia Design Manager

The President and the Design Manager was down in Singapore last week and we had it really packed bringing them around to meet designers, understanding their requirement and tastes.

Not to mention the meetings that lasted a few hour each time.
Talking about figures after figures. $$$

No matter how, it still ended and after a day bringing the Design Manger around,
she's a Korean btw, stayed in HK and worked in USA.

I treated her to our good 'ole Kopi'O at East Coast Lagoon.
She says she like it.

I wonder if it's real. Heehee.
Kopi'O "Gao" next time.

It's Boys!

A perfect pose for the ultra scan.

Finally! Today we see the penis!
Haha. As per last time, we could only see one of the baby's gender.
However, the gynae says that identical twin will usually be the same gender.
So it's 2 boys!

Yippie!

Last few weeks, it's 70% sure to be boys. Today. It's confirmed!

Ultrascan... it's the best thing created after Gameboy.
3 Weeks later will be the detailed scan where we will get to see the baby in detail and for them to be checked in detail too.

Can't wait!

Pregnancy - Good to knows

A new era in our life.

Pregnancy is more often then not, a stage or rude awakening.
Of course, that's amidst the happiness and anticipation.

I've seen my sisters all get pregnant and have babies, had seen friends done it and i thought i have heard enough to sail through without much hiccups.

But i was Wrong, WROng, WRONG!

I decided to pen down some great stuffs to know to whoever chance upon this blog.

1) Morning sickness -
It does not have to happen in the morning, it can happen at night, in the afternoon, basically, anytime.
Symptoms: Vomitting

2) Rashes -
It's normal. It's not a sign of some abnormal body behaviour. Basically, the skin stretches, so it's becoming very tender. Usually happen in thigh areas and can get very itchy.
Solution: Buy a organic creme and apply as required.

3) Feeling breathless -
No, you are not about to faint. Due to the baby's movement and the fact that more oxygen is needed, be it to be transported in blood or whatever, you will feel breathless from time to time.
Solution: Squat down, you will feel better almost immediately.

4) Puke with Blood -
Makes u stop puking almost immediately, as it probably had given you a shock.
But, if this happen during excesssive violent vomitting, it's normal. Because during excessive violent vomitting, the little veins in the throat may tear and this will result in blood in vomit.
However, that said, never take for granted and if needed, seek professional help.

5) Always go to the gynae -
No. If it's normal conditions like a flu or slight fever, a GP will do. Do not have to go back to your gynae for every other thing. They are usually more expensive.

Some simple yet important notes to keep in mind.

Pregnancy - A incredible, life long journey.

Life is tough

Life is never easy, for all of us.
And after facing all the problems in life, we still have to die.

Some may argue that not all have find it tough. But i think those people are stupid.
Life was MADE DIFFICULT.

Imagine if you can reverse the lifecycle.

You begin life dead.
Then you gets back to life and starts to feel better by the day as your body gets stronger.
Your begin to enjoy retirement age and in 20years' time, you get a lump sum CPF transfered into your account.

You get back into the working force and gets a gold rolex watch, not to mention the BMW that appears at your doorstep on your first day at work.
Slowly you start to have less responsibilites at work and enjoy drinking and partying the night away.

You get back to high school, and finally back to primary school, turning into a children with totally no stress, no responsibility.

You spend the next 9 months in a womb swimming around.

And finally you end life with a orgasm.

Great right?

Cheryl Chua

My neighbour is now my colleague.

The world is indeed small.
Sit right in front of me somemore.

Hopes she stays for a year or two.

You bang, you pay

You bang, you pay. That's why we buy insurance in Singapore.

But that's not always the case.
Yesterday i came up with a new philosophy.

You bang, you pay, unless you run away.

哇靠!靠!靠!靠!

New Friends

Another successful employment exercise.

I was glad that Kelvin turned up for work today.
Our new Account Manager. In the trade for coming a decade, if i did not remember wrongly.

I do hope that he gets used to our system. Sometimes it's not easy to change, be it for the better, or worst. Our company employs on merit. A fair employer. (Sometimes only la)

He's 40+ already. Usually they like to employ young people. So he's really an exception.
He's even older then my big boss lor. Hahaha.

With him on board, we look forward to another lady, Cheryl, joining the team next Monday.
She, have no experience in the trade. Doesn't drive too, which i thought was the key criteria for this recuitment exercise. Hence, another demostration that we hire on merit?

Seriously, it's not easy to be in this company without transport. The samples we lug around every day is - HEAVY.

Anyway...

They are looking for one more person to fill another vacancy. Market is bad, but we are hiring like mad. *ohh... it rhymths*
But, they are still looking. Should be a lady too.

I hope and pray that they are fun loving and would work well with me.
I'm easy, but only if they are.
