China's Earthquake

The scale of destruction of this natural disaster is intense.

People are dead by the thousands. Kids, Babies, Elders.. Nobody was spared.
Many had to have their limps amputated to be freed from the rubbles, at times, they amputate without any anesectics. Imagine that.

Today we hear news of a surviving baby found beside the dead mother.
Before death, the mother had cuddled the infant close to her chest giving her warmth and breast milk. The infant had survived on her dead mother's milk to survive. Imagine that.

Another kid was found alive, holding on to his mobile phone with a text message from his mother telling him to live on, live strong should he survive and be alive. Nobody knows if the mother is alive at all.

It's really happening to someone, on this same planet.
