Singapore Fireworks Celebration

Fireworks had always been a childhood fascination for me. My very first time up close with it was when i went to China and fire up some myself.

For no reason would i excuse myself from this year's display, thats for sure. Making my way with Mrs Neo, my Mum and one cutie niece in the drizzling rain, i found a good spot, just across OneRafflesQuay and right behind the NTUC Building. Around 200 to 300 ppl were there, gathered in clusters holding umbrella, waiting.

Now and then i could hear childrens saying "When is it going to start?"

Then at 9.15pm sharp, the first tracer shot up into the air, exploded into a goldish shower, brightening up the night sky. Everyone screamed in excitement (including me, i scream damn loud) and cameras went off like nobody's business (the age of digital imaging, where people take a hundred shot to finally choose one, i did that too).

This spot was not as fantastic as previous years where i laid on the grass patch and watch the fireworks explode above me. But that place had since been developed and no access was granted. Dissapointing to watch from that 500m more away, but yeah, it's still awesome.

I felt like a kid, for that moment, i felt life was beautiful There was a serene feeling of peace and calm among the crazy, voice breaking screams.

Everything had to come to an end of course and i was throw back to reality. While writing this bog entry, i really feel the need to relax, put everything down, disconnect yourself and live life as how it primary should be.

Yeah i am relaxing now, still connected as i punch away while lying down on a soft relaxing chair here in Kenko foot reflexology doing a 2hr session with my mum.

Later i will make my way down to Suntec with Mrs Neo, there a ASA road show there. Maybe we'll end up going to Maldives this December.

Who knows what life have in store for you.

And no.. I am not wasting money.
I am living it the way i want it to be.
I don't seek to be the rich, but i yearn to give my family richness in terms of indefinate happiness (to the best as i can only of course).

Maldives (or whereever), here i come!
